I have been going to Galveston every summer since I was a kid. If you love the ocean then you will love Galveston. There is a strong nautical atmosphere all throughout the town and it’s shops. There is so much to do. You must eat at Landry’s. It is a great seafood resteraunt. Rent a beach house for the weekend on treasure island or jamaica beach. Ride the fairy over to port bolivar and see the historical light house or go down to peir twenty one and visit the museums to learn all about the “Great Storm” of the early 1900s.

I spent ten weeks in Memphis as a Sojourner Missionary with NAMB (North American Mission Board). Memphis is a really cool place with so much to do. We went out almost every weekend after long hard weeks of ministry. We never really ran out of things to do.

The night I went here we did not get to see the infamous “Marfa Lights” :-(

I love to go to Copper Mountain, Breckenridge or Vail and ski! Colorado is a beautiful place to go. I love the mountains in the winter. They are very refreshing in the summer.

Some day I will go back to stay!
