I live here.

like the guy says, its wicked. i lived there for 9 years. although NZ has a lot of rain. BoI is great for water sports, fishing, sailing, anything sub-tropical.

i went to california, but it was part of a larger tour. so i got to see disneyland, hollywood, los angeles… but i didnt get to hang out at the beaches. from what i saw, which was the very mass-media-pop-culture-japanese-touristy-side… its just like anywhere else, but with more touristy crap. next time i visit california, i hope to see more than just LA/Hollywierd.

if theres only a few things you do in your life, see the snow! live in the snow. build a snow fort. go skiing. if you’re courageous enough, go snowboarding. go snowmobiling. go icefishing. just hangout indoors with the heater on full blast knowing that its -40C outside, and you are toasty inside! also… canadian people are fantastic.
