An excellent place to go for a run and a swim afterwards. Some friends say that it gets too crowded in the summer, but I’m more amused than annoyed by the variety of people that go there. Furthermore, it’s unbeatable being in the middle of the pond when it’s sunny out.

Sometimes during the late spring, Bruuer Pond dries up enough so that it’s a huge mud puddle, in which you can have large-scale mud fights and lose your shoes in the knee-high smelly mud.

You can go swimming there in the summer and algae (?) arms will reach from the bottom and grab you while you are swimming. I’m undecided as to whether I’m better off having experienced this.

Really nice beaches and rather beautiful beach bunnies. What more can you ask for?

It may not have the best of each respective thing, but just the fact that there so many things to do was cool – historic sites, warm beaches, snorkling off a catamaran, hiking through rainforest type areas, I thought that PR was quite a nice getaway for 4 days.

All of the exhibits in Indy Art Musuem weren’t open (from renovation) yet, but of the ones I saw, I was fairly impressed. They seemed to be making full use of the resources they had.
