that I may have to postpone my trip to Hawaii this summer. I was going to go late July/early August; however, my boss is going on vacation around that time, and I will be needed in the office. Grr. It’s not a sure cancellation, but it’s looking grim for Hawaii this year. I’m bummed.

It’s a nice town. There used to be a lot of dairies in the vicinity, but they’re all getting monetary incentives (from other cities) to move away. It’s very suburban, so not very distinct. It’s not a “destination location,” by any stretch of the imagination. It’s a good place to live, though.

I’m planning on going to the Hawaiian Islands this summer. I’ve started a vacation savings plan through work, so I’m at least putting away $20/paycheck. I already put money in savings, but right now I’m using that for upkeep on my car & other “unforeseen” expenses.
