Sunny Point Cafe, West Asheville

The food here rocks!

This is a mother/daughter owned neighborhood cafe which uses a lot of local goods and makes an excellent meal! The fried green tomato sandwich on a croissant with goat cheese and roasted pepper aioli is to die for! (and I seriously do not work here, I work across town in Blk Mtn and am always sending people to this place if they’re going this direction) It is so worth it! They also serve a berry jam that is soooo good. I always buy an extra angel biscuit just so I can use more jam!

The atmosphere is laid back and bright and airy, the servers are friendly, and the food…whew…makes me hungry!

UNC-A, Asheville

Untitled

The campus is beautiful and the quad is a great place…there’s always someone playing fetch with their dog. It’s a great small university campus.

We first visited in the early spring. You can see Mt.Pisgah from the library steps across the Quad. It lets you know you’re not stuck in a great big city, but the mountains surround you.

Rosetta's Kitchen, Asheville

love, love, loooove the food here!

The vegetarian/vegan food here is awesome! We take all our friends here, and even the diehard carnivores love it! The atmosphere is very eclectic and everyone is cool. Super-nice people. The pad thai and the buddah bowls are our favorites. Too many choices :0)
