Great place to spend a quiet few days. The Castle is great and the surrounding countryside amazing.

Virgin Trains do not stop here normally so you’ll need to change at one of the other stations (suggest Llandudno Junction) and take a bus or a local train (run by Arriva) to this place. By Car it’s easy to get to along the A55 (which runs along the North Waes coast).

I’m afraid the picture I’ve posted isn’t great but one of the only ones I could find in my collection.

Pictures of this place look amazing…but it really isn’t worth it unless you are travelling through. DO NOT go on a package holiday here (like I was unfortunate to have taken pat in). In fact, don’t go on a package holiday anywhere! Not unless you’re in a large family or are lazy.

Reykjavik – Best night out I’ve ever had.
Rest of Iceland – Mind blowingly amazing.

Very expensive place but the locals know it and won’t expect you to pay for things you don’t need. Buy food from Supermarkets, stay in backpacker hostels (or camp). Rent cars before you get there.
