My mom is from New Orleans so we used to visit every summer when I was young. New Orleans holds fond memories for me. Many of my family members were affected by Katrina and I am saddened to think of the devastation of places I will never see again. One of the best vacations you can take is to New Orleans – tourism is all they’ve got!
over 4 years agoNot much to say. Took two 5-day trips with university (Rome and Milan). Found the people friendly and the cities beautiful/easy to get around. Didn’t appreciate the leering Italian men but I guess things like that just have to be accepted when visiting other countries. I would love to go back with my husband for a more romantic, personal vacation.
