Viva Peru!

I am writing this from the Libertador Hotel in Cusco, and will be taking the Vistadome train for a 3 hour journey to Machu Picchu tomorrow!! I´m so excited. Today we´re seeing a number of ruins in the Sacred Valley area. I´m taking lots of photos and will post a few when I get back to the states.

Sedona

Worth visiting!

Why I want to go to this place

Sedona is incredible! I love it here. The natural scenery is magnificent and definitely worth the trip. People are friendly. And it’s a stone’s throw from the Grand Canyon. Great if you’re into the outdoors and enjoy rock climbing, hiking, off-roading, etc. Take the pink jeep tour if you’re an adventurous spirit (and only if you don’t have a bad back).

Eyedrum Art & Music Gallery

Worth visiting!

Just go

Eyedrum is awesome…you will find art/music/film events here that you won’t find anywhere else in Atlanta. Improvisational music, burlesque shows, multimedia performances, and some killer bands.

Definitely worth the trip

I’d go back here in a heartbeat. If you visit Hawaii, make sure you stop here.

See Barcelona

Barcelona is a very cultural city…the Gaudi sculptures, parks (Parc Guell) and hotels are incredible works of art. But if you don’t like seafood, eating can be a challenge in some parts.

Georgia

Worth visiting!

Georgia on my mind...

I’ve lived in a bunch of different cities – New York, Boston, Orlando, Atlanta, also South Florida and New Jersey. And Atlanta beats them all. Why? Parking is abundant compared to Boston/New York, cost of living is low, friendly people, trees everywhere, young population, plenty to do. And we have about one snow a year…that’s it. Winters are mild. Lived here 7 years and then lived in Boston, and I couldn’t WAIT to get back. Now I’m here for good.
