I Grew Up in "Fort"
It was almost a suffocating teenage life. It is not a lie when people say that there isn’t much to do in Fort Frances. Especially when you’re young. The teenagers are stereotyped because there are far too many people who are careless and have bad behaviour – leaving local law enforcement to end all parties and make sure everyone is in their homes by midnight.
There are also a ton of drugs that float around the town – more than you’d think. The school is infected with them. There are only a handful of people in the school who haven’t done drugs, as opposed to what you’d like to think.
Aside from that, and as recent events have shown, there is a ridiculous amount of racism that nobody has taken action towards ending.
But I suppose if you’re one who is strictly religious and prefers to have no social life whatsoever, and you’re okay with working at a fast food chain of some sort (there are very little employment opportunities in this town) then it may be for you.
I’m not saying that children should be raised in large cities – there is much more drug abuse and crime here – but there is just little opportunity to expand your mind. It’s shallow here.
