The Olive Branch is the name of the best retaurant in Prince Albert. It was rated one of the Top 10 Everyday Eating Restaurants in South Africa in 2005. Thats kind of cool for a small family place where the chef cooks mainly as a hobby. It’s only open when he feels like it and he takes food very seriously!

Too hot, overcrowded, polluted and too expensive! There are too many other beautiful, interesting places in India that are better to spend time in.

For some reason I wasn’t impressed. But Im glad I went and would tell others to go too, just so you can say you’ve been there.

This is my home from home. It’s where I come to re-energise and relax in tranquility between travels. Prince Albert is at he foot of the Swartberg Mountains below the famous Swartberg Pass. It’s quiet, has REALLY clean air and is surrounded by nothing for hundreds of kms, except wide open semi-desert and huge African sky. Beautiful!
