Just being me. Serenity's Sister; really.

I went to ASU for my undergrad degree. I enjoyed the small town life, worked at a local church and met one of my best friends there. It is a beautiful town in a lovely state. Many wonderful memories are kept in my heart from ASU, especially meeting Former President Bill Clinton.

Southwestern Michigan….worth visiting.

Good ole Rocky Top. I can remember skating to the song Home Grown tamaters and Good ole Rocky Top. PULASKI was where we lived. BEAUTIFUL land, the alfalfa grows and smells lovely in the spring. The hills are breathtaking. If you ever go there, go to Martin Methodist College and look for my brick in front of the admissions hall; my best guy friend John Bledsoe bought us both bricks. Class of ‘93.

My college roommate and one of my best friends in the entire world. She came to the US knowing NO English and got stuck with me as a roommate. She lost her cross necklace the first week she was at the University, deep in the snow. She came to me crying flinging the pages of the Spanish to English dictionary demanding we go look. We found it. Mafe and I went ten years without seeing one another again and in 2004 we spent a weekend together thinking about the good times. When she gets married, I will be at her wedding in Bogota. First, I have to find her a husband.

Maricelo and I took a long walk in the fresh snow at Iowa State on Valentine’s Day 1996. He wrote me a beautiful card in honor of the day and our friendship. He was a BEAUTIFUL man from Argentina; one full of grace and kindness. I still have the photo of our walk and desire to walk in his country, to be kind to someone there as he was kind to me.

I went to grad school at Iowa State and it was the best time of my life! The beauty of the land and the rich mix of people on the campus was enthralling. I would love to go back, to visit where I walked and to kiss under the Campanile.

I went here several years back for a jazz festival. The area is beautiful. It was lovely to feel the fresh attitudes and lovely demanor of the people. I would definitly recommend.

We went here on our honeymoon and it was wonderful. We didn’t do the whole touristy thing, but went and ate where the locals ate and did the recreational things the locals did. The highlight of our vacation was the migration of thousands of sand crabs across the road as we sat in a down pour in an open air jeep. It will forever be an amazing memory in my mind.
