I was there around POTC: 2 fever, so the menus were all neat, and they had cookie boats that featured a POTC sail. I’m not going to lie. I kept it…even though it was edible. I can only eat 1 bite of the Monte Cristo before feeling sick. It is extremely rich. The gumbo is delicious. When making reservations, ask for a table close to the water, or when you get there, say you’ll wait until there is one available. It is amazing. Very dark, but that’s the ambience. Best food in the park, but probably the most expensive, too.

We were at Disneyland for the red carpet premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest in 2006. My father extended our trip one day so that we could ride Pirates of the Caribbean the day that it re-opened after they put all the new stuff in. We waited for hours, and the lines were insane. They added like 20 extra boats and they kept bumping into each other and we would stop. I think it broke down at one point, and “Dead Men Tell No Tales” kept repeating. I think the ride is cooler now than before, but I know purists are upset because they changed the original. Oh well.

I went to Typhoon! with my grandmother, and as per NW 23rd style, it lived up to expectations. The Pad Thai was delicious…generous portions, lots of leftovers. The price was good as well. I would definately go back.

I love the fact that even in a tall condominium building in Seattle, you can still hear everything. What is better than being able to watch the lights and the people there at night? There is so much to do and I wish that I could live there one day.

If you live in Portland, definately the best place to get your volunteer on. It is a great cause, and what other way can you spend your day with hundreds of cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, bunnies, birds, hamsters, etc.?

If you are looking for a family friendly place to have fun, this is the place. You never have to worry about safety, because the minute you throw up, a staff member appears out of nowhere to transport you to the nurse. Great place.
