I’m from Maryland and I go to school in Baltimore. I must confess, Charm City is, well, charming in its own quirky ways. However, I’m tired of living in the city. It gets boring very quickly, and there aren’t many attractions. Visit Baltimore, but make it a 1 or 2 day trip. Be sure to check out DC because it’s only 45 minutes away!

Spectacular, especially if you like to surf!

A few years ago I took a cruise and Norway was one of the stops. Geiranger fjord is the most spectacular sight I’ve seen. The sides of the fjord towered above the 16 deck ship. A small boat ferried us from the ship to a bus. It took maybe 15 minutes for the bus to wind its way up through some clouds to the top of the fjord. There’s a small café that overlooks the glaciers and a beautiful freshwater lake formed from melted glacier ice. Honestly, you have to see it to believe it.
