It’s your typical Beach town. Nothing really special otherwise. :) But if you like beaches, you’ll love Daytona. I would suggest staying away during Spring Break (it gets amazingly packed) and Bike Week.

I wasn’t able to explore most of the city because I was there for “work” and spent most of my time working and wandering around their public library… but I would definitely recommend their Historical Museum of Southern Florida right across from the library. It was quite interesting and a nice time killer. :)

I hope to go back to Miami some day and actually visit some more touristy areas, because it has a lot of potential.

This has got to be my favorite beach city. Highly recommended to anyone who dreams of white sands and emerald waters. It is amazing. :)

Lovely little tourist area with a Bavarian flavor. Make sure to go during Oktoberfest and during the peak of fall foliage… North Georgia is absolutely beautiful and very colorful during the fall. Recommended for a short trip, or a small part of a longer trip. If you stay longer than a few days you will get bored quick.

I only suggest this place to people who like to shop (for mostly worthless, touristy things, and knick knacks) and people who love nature. There are a few small attractions but most of them (like aquariums, Rippley’s, minigolf etc) can be found in a bigger city near you. Dollywood is not too far away though.

The mountains, waterfalls, and creeks are breathtaking. That would be the best thing about this place. If it is not your main reason for going, you will be disappointed.
