It’s your typical Beach town. Nothing really special otherwise. :) But if you like beaches, you’ll love Daytona. I would suggest staying away during Spring Break (it gets amazingly packed) and Bike Week.
over 3 years agoI wasn’t able to explore most of the city because I was there for “work” and spent most of my time working and wandering around their public library… but I would definitely recommend their Historical Museum of Southern Florida right across from the library. It was quite interesting and a nice time killer. :)
I hope to go back to Miami some day and actually visit some more touristy areas, because it has a lot of potential.
