A parrothead’s paradise! Hey, sometimes you even run into Jimmy there.

My husband and I venture out to Old Town several times a year. Every Saturday night they have a classic car cruise. We usually take one of our 1965 mustangs to drive in the cruise. Other times we take one of the newer mustangs and curise up there with one of the local mustang clubs just for something to do.

The one bummer is that they don’t have 5 cent Cokes at the general store any more! Now it’s Pepsi. YUCK.

I talk my husband into spending the money every time they do the FL resident discount!

Love love love it.

Worth it to go once…but it’s not really a scary ride. The only thing that makes it worth it is that it’s dark so you don’t see the dips and turns coming.

It gets slightly more frightening if you see it with the lights on (ie during the many times it breaks down). The way it’s laid out is insane.

Ok, that’s a joke. I’ve lived here all my life and I used to like it. Now I would consider it a place worth visiting, but I sure as heck don’t want to live here anymore! Too crowded, too hot.
