Pennsylvania

Worth visiting!

Pennsylvania

I’ve been here before many times, particularly Philadelphia – to the liberty bell, many historic places, and Amish homes but I would like to revisit to spark my memory.

Chocolate.

I went to Pennsylvania by bus as a little girl with my mother. The trip seemed to take forever and we stopped at diners here and there. Eventually we visted Hershey Park. I remember riding through this chocolate river and getting a bunch of hershey kisses.

North Carolina

Worth visiting!

Carolina.

My cousins live in NC so I would like to travel there again. I enjoyed my last visit very much and it’s a very different atmosphere and environment from what I’m accustomed to. I especially loved swimming in the lake and driving up the mountains to this Native American reservation.

Los Angeles

Worth visiting!

My love lives here.

When I was a little girl I used to envision Hollywood as the place to run away to in order to make my dreams come true. Of course, I was young and very much influenced by television. I kind of wish I had never been there so that I’d still carry this image of it being ‘the land of dreams’ or something. It’s kind of odd I suppose being that I am from New York, and this seems to be that ‘other’ place some people go to pursue their dream. I love New York so much more, and after traveling to LA many times already to see the love of my life, who is living there right now because he fled to chase after his musical career, I’ve decided that I do not really like it. He’s not too fond of it either, but I guess it can be a pretty cool place at times. The bright side for me is surely the sun as I love warm weather and this makes me happy, having access to several beaches. The typically nice weather does inspire more physical activity. I believe I would enjoy other parts of California much more and would like to visit San Francisco very soon. Still, I may move to LA at some point because it’s the second best city for my current career and I’d like a change. I’m sure it might grow on me, but to leave NY for LA seems ridiculous to me. I only say it’s not worth visiting for if you want to go because you have this preconceived idea of it in your mind, the city might disappoint. However, I say GO anyway and decide for yourself. After all I may just be crazy, but my heart is in New York.

New York City

Worth visiting!

I live here!

My beloved home.

I absolutely adore New York City and although I have lived here for all 23 years of my life, I just could never get enough of it. It’s madness, chaos, and culture appeals to me, but more than that it’s a home for artists. Some of the buildings are so beautiful, you have to take a moment and appreciate the architecture because it’s easy for someone who has lived here for so long to take it for granted. I went on a boat party and tour sponsored by the Copa Cabana and I fell in love with the city all over again. It navigates through and around the ocean as it makes sure to pass every major building so that you are a mere couple of feet away staring at them in the face. Suddenly the statue of liberty herself was towering over the dance floor of the boat in all her statuesque glory. I have seen her that close only a handful of times in my life. There is still a lot to appreciate, for me; but there is nothing like walks after dark through the city as I am on my way home or out to dinner with my love. We find that we are bad at making plans, but in this town there is no need to, for there is always something to do. The city truly never sleeps.

Montezuma

I will have to edit this later… but I had the most amazingly beautiful and serene time of my life – with my love.

The photo is of the hotel we stayed on the beach of a place called Montezuma.
