Savonlinna

Why I want to go to this place

I want to see Savonlinnan ooperajuhlat :-)

Ireland

(in Europe)
Why I want to go to this place

It’s my dream for ten years already. The places where I would like to go changed over the years but the main goal is the same. To get to know the Emerald Isle.

London

Worth visiting!

How this place changed my life

This place is “responsible” for my fluency in English ;-) and also for my dreams to explore more of the Old World where legends, Kings and Queens are still alive.

Italy

(in Europe)

Worth visiting!

How this place changed my life

I fell in love with the sea in Italy back in 1996. It was the place where I felt its force and gentlessness for the first time…It shaped my soul and made my wanderlust even more pronounced.

Hyvinkää

Worth visiting!

The first time I went to this place

I visited Hyvinkää before three months for the first time. It was March, and although the weather was far from perfect, I enjoyed every minute of it. I liked Helsinki very much. Well, I’m a city girl… but Hyvinkää gave me something, that even Helsinki couldn’t. It’s not big city, but it has it’s architecture, story and ever needed calm, plus it is a town where lives somebody dear to my heart;-)

Austria

(in Europe)
Why I want to go to this place

Austria is a country with an unfinished story for me…My ancestors lived there and although I’ve been there many, many times I’ll never stop returning so I can learn more because there are still many things left unexplored that are calling at me.

Lapland

(in Finland)
Why I want to go to this place

I’ve been to Finland three months ago. Surprisingly I won’t gush how much this country enthralled me, because there is more than that. I felt simply connection with the people and the place. I’m from Central Europe and I love Czech Republic, my home country, but this was similar and totally different at the same time. Never happenned to me while abroad and I sincerely hope to return back soon. Well, I wouldn’t mind spending longer time there :-)
Lapland sounds magical to me. I’m interested in the old myths and legends of Kalevala. I’m poet by nature and this place gave me a lot of inspiration so why not to visit it and experience on my own?
