We stayed in the Tokyo Ryokan, which is just around the corner from the popular Taito Ryokan. Beautiful little place, with plenty to do nearby (Karaoke, Sushi, Okonomiyaki, and Tenya = BEST TEMPURA! :D, Senso-ji, Water Taxis).

Also, really close to Akiba~ :)

Wandering around at like, 5-6pm – best time to spot Geisha! We bumped into this Maiko who had just nipped down a backstreet with her minder, and she very kindly posed with us for photos. Hurrah!

Now, we only stopped off in Ikebukuro briefly one morning – for a single, secret reason.

Nekobukuro. Head to the top of the Tokyu department store, for cats, cats and more cats. Very cute, and very cool. They have some amazing breeds there, including some really huge ones! :)

Shibuya became a little bit of a haunt for the group of us that stayed in Tokyo earlier this year – good arcades and shopping to be had!

Totally recommend going to the Lock-up – it’s awesome!

Spent 3 wonderful afternoons wandering Harajuku – I love Beams-T, Murasaki Action Sports and the huge GAP store.

Some ace pictures were taken on the bridge near Yoyogi-koen, which my girlfriend will Flickr at some point. :)

My second visit to Paris was far cooler than my first – early last summer whilst it was dead warm. Myself, my girlfriend and our 2 best friends bundled into my Ford Fiesta and we trundled our way via ferry across many, many motorways to Paris.

Awesome city, favourite place being the ‘paddling pool’ fountain opposite the Eiffel Tower. :)

... On my way up to visit some friends. It’s interesting enough, just a bit of a pointless eyesore.

Hometowm of my lovely girlfriend. Plenty of nice little shops, and the Cathedral is ace. I love the south of the UK, far nicer than the smelly north! :)

It’s a great place for shopping, with 2 big centres and plenty of quality places in the Lace Market.
Good eating to be had at ‘Opium’, and ‘Man Ho’ resteraunts.

If you want to live here, stick to West Bridgford to avoid the GUNS. :)

It’s been a while since I was in Rome, but it’ll stick with me how much I loved it there for a good while longer yet. The streets are full of life, and the sun between the shadows make for the perfect heat for wandering aimlessly.
