Just booked flight/cruise today… nothing like a last-minute trip!
over 5 years agoMy husband and I recently visited Portland and surrounding areas. Unfortunately, we went in January which is not the best time to see things due to weather conditions. We went to the Tillamook cheese factory and down the coast to Pacific City to look at some oceanview property. Then we drove north past Rockaway beach.
We also spent a couple of days in the Portland area. We weren’t super excited about downtown Portland, but we liked seeing the huge bookstore that took up a city block.
Our favorite sight was the Columbia River Gorge Area. We drove to Multnomah falls and checked out the other waterfalls in the area. These were good hikes and beautiful scenery.
