quilts galore!!
I travel to Houston for many reasons – culture, shopping, crafts, and there is one time of the year that Houston is turned into a quilting mecca! At the end of October, the International Quilt Market and Festival of Houston, TX arrives and it brings vendors and people from all over the world!
There is 6 football fields length of vendor booths – a shoppers wet dream and a crafters heaven!!
There is displays of quilts from all over and of different mediums. You will find that there is so much that your sense become overloaded and inspiration takes over! We go for a week or more. My friends and myself pack up our food, current projects and credit cards and head to Houston.
I highly recommend this festival!!
