I stopped in the painted desert as part of a long road trip I took several years ago. We got a camping permit and hiked out into the desert to camp for the evening. It was simply a beautiful, peaceful place to be. I’d love to go back someday.

The Grand Canyon is definitely worth seeing at least once in your life, it is awe-inspiring.

I learned most of what I know about Arizona and specifically the Sonora desert from this museum. It’s more than a museum…it’s a zoo (very naturalistic), botanical gardens, and just a very beautiful site!

This is a beautiful, fun place to hike, picnic, or just check out nature. There’s even a tram to take the less physical out to various sites in the park.

I lived in Tucson for two years. Loved it! The mountains and desert added beauty to my life everyday.

I had lots of fun! The only downside was that it was very touristy, but sometimes that’s okay. The beaches were beautiful!

Visited friends, loved it! Interesting people, watched dogsledding!
