I stopped in the painted desert as part of a long road trip I took several years ago. We got a camping permit and hiked out into the desert to camp for the evening. It was simply a beautiful, peaceful place to be. I’d love to go back someday.
over 6 years agoThe Grand Canyon is definitely worth seeing at least once in your life, it is awe-inspiring.
over 6 years agoI learned most of what I know about Arizona and specifically the Sonora desert from this museum. It’s more than a museum…it’s a zoo (very naturalistic), botanical gardens, and just a very beautiful site!
