It really blows. Everything closes on post at about 1900, that includes the PX, commissary, and most eateries. There’s nothing outside post to write home about either.

Drink water, stay inside the wire, sleep under 6 feet of concrete and re bar.

Hey, this place is alright! Now if we could do something about the tourist dilemma…

This place is Disneyworld on acid. Everyone is all smiles. It’s creepy. That’s if you can find people at all. Hotels everywhere, vacant. This place is a ghost town. And if the harps weren’t loud enough to keep you up all night, the booming voice of “God” counting down to “the rapture” could wake the dead. And let’s not forget the concierge’s Michael and Gabriel always discussing how prepared they’d be for a sudden influx of visitors. I really can’t see this place taking off anytime soon, I think they’ll be waiting till the end of the world before they see any flood of visitors.

No room service? Are you fucking kidding me? And the hotel was NOWHERE near the ocean like the brochure said. More like in the middle of a lake of fire! And the screaming, it was unending. Don’t the townies in this place have anything better to do than whine and moan? Our ferryman was so rude. Didn’t speak a SINGLE word. This place is a dump, don’t even bother vacationing here!
