quiet and dim – great for relaxing dinner. They came out the door after me when I forgot my leftovers.. But they do charge by for soda refills. Huge yummy spring rolls. Great Pho.

Surprisingly nice inside – you can forget that you’re in a strip mall. Good prices, lots of selection. We ordered 5 different things and all of them were yummy. Will definitely be back.

Been trying to check out some of our local resturants – drive past this one all the time. It’s not super cheap, but the quality of the food balances out the hole in the wall atmosphere.
Also – wasn’t crazy busy on a Friday night, so we actually got to eat – hard to find around here!

So I got to go with her to Budapest and stay with my step-aunt – who owns a children’s publishing company – and her bf, who publishes a hungarian language car magazine.
It was gorgeous, nice museums. I found out that I adore European cars and don’t mind being somewhere where I don’t speak the language.
Oh. and they have smoking in malls and airports.
I didn’t exactly check out the nightlife or anything, but it was enough different than other European cities that I had seen pictures of that just looking around was a good adventure.

From the people who brought you Pappasitos and Pappasdeux, here’s a sports bar done really well. Deep dish and thin crust pizza, strange and normal toppings. Several beers on tap, and many more available. Reasonable level of noise unless it’s live music night. Wish there were more of these.
