Cubes

I took a look at Keene State while I was looking for colleges. Keene’s a really cool town.

Went to a free state meeting at the local library. It was cold. I was too liberal. The romance ended pretty quick.

I’ve done a lot of things in New Hampshire, hiking, climbing, going to weddings, crashing vehicles, but by far the most unique was my journey up to New Hampshire to see the Free Staters for New Years 2007. We all met up in this mostly finished house. It was really weird, because I didn’t know anyone. Everyone was really friendly, but I ended up leaving early. I guess I never got the libertarian mentality down. Too much concern for the environment.

I decided to be an engineer out of high school. One semester’s worth of freezing nonsense of this tundra changed my mind really fast.

Went on a jogging date through Central Park. It was a lot of fun. It was fall and we climbed a tower. The amusing thing was it was the same day as the Marathon and we had trouble getting around the park because everything was blocked off for the other runners.

I spent a lot of time in New York, attended classes at NYU and got a nice view of the city. I think the last time I went was to help cater a party for my boss, and I haven’t been back since.

I visited Philmont Scout Ranch in the Rockies. We hiked 86 miles in about a week.

The first time I went to AZ was on one of Dad’s business trips. We spent most of our time in Phoenix, but also spent a day in Tuscon and a few days up at the Grand Canyon. We didn’t see much of the Canyon because a fugitive was on the lose at the time, but we went sliding down natural rock formations in a stream not too far away from Flagstaff.

I flew into San Luis Obispo where a couple of my friends were living at the time. We drove up along the coast to Oakland. Over all it was a pretty good time.
