There’s lots to do in Halifax. I wish people smiled more when you pass them on the street, but I guess that’s because I come from a smaller city. Anyway – worth visiting because there’s a lot of young people there that want to do things and it makes it less boring. What I don’t like is the outskirts that are becoming Suburbia…

I would love to go to Scotland. I’m from Nova Scotia (Latin for New Scotland) so we’ve got a lot of the culture here but I always wanted to be immersed in “the real thing.” And I want to see a castle!

Louisbourg is a popular tourist destination in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. There’s a recreated Fortress there from battles between the English and the French. People dress in costume and stuff and it’s really fun. You can buy bread like they made it a long time ago! Don’t miss it!

It’s also great because it has one of the best beaches around. The waves are usually bigger and there’s not a lot of people around.

I had to get to PEI this year since it’s the end for Rainbow Valley. It was so much fun! I used to go as a kid and it was so nice to be back and be able to go on the big people rides. Lots of fun on PEI.

You can walk through downtown Glace Bay in 5 minutes. Some people may not really like that because there’s “nothing to do.” But it’s great. You can feel safe walking here at 4 in the morning. I didn’t grow up here but I call it my home.

I really want to go to Newfoundland! I live in Nova Scotia and I’ve been to the other two Atlantic provinces multiple times. Newfoundland is next on my list! My boyfriend and I often think about jumpinig on the ferry just to go there and back, but I want to make a REAL visit.

I went there for two months as part of my training. I loved it there! I really want to go again some time.

I drive around the Cabot Trail usually about twice a year. Absolute best time to go is early fall when the leaves have changed colors! For pictures, visit www.capergirl.com
