This town is very pretty and relaxing. It’s got a nice selection of restaurants and the pubs are very cosy. My boyfriend and I stayed in a B&B for a few days and really enjoyed ourselves. It’s a nice getaway for families and couples. The train line goes right through the town. All in all, a nice relaxing place!

As a child and teenager, my parents always took my sister and I to Mojacar, and the surrounding town El Pinar. Both are lovely relaxing towns, and very typically Spanish. A great place to go for a quiet break away from tourist areas.

I visited Oostende with my Boyfriend in July 2004. We had a lovely time. There is a tram line from Oostende that goes up and down different coastal spots in Belgium – You can buy a ticket for the day and hop on and off seeing many places. There is also an open top bus in the shape of a bar that takes about 10 people on it, and it drives around one of the coastal spots selling beer!
