i actually lived here for approx. 4 years. great town with great people. 4th avenue and bison witches = a must! [used to work there] great food, awesome choice of beer, and fun locals. staying at hotel congress is a cool experience, it is full of history from the cowboy days with vintage room decor, breakfast the breakfast is yummy! Mt. lemmon is located on the east side of town and a really lovely drive. it takes about an hour to ascend and the lodge at the top is way neat. they have awesome food and bounties of hummingbirds buzzing about! arizona sunsets are absolutely gorgeous, likened to illuminated cotton candy!
