I had a great time while I was here, The redwoods are unbelievable. There’s so much to explore outside, but I don’t think I would want to live there. People are nice, but everyone’s a little too mellow for me to handle. I was almost embarrassed to tell people I didn’s smoke pot because that’s like, the thing to do there, man.

This area had a lot of cool restuarants and shops. THere’s also an area where a bunch of people hang out during the day, a little park of sorts. Kind of like Central Park for hippies. Really relaxed, but I didn’t really feel heady enough to be there.

I’ve been living in Michigan my whole life. I’ve been all over the state and have great tips for anyone who wants to visit here. It’s a great place to come, the Great Lakes and sandy beaches are amazing. Fall is a great time to see the colors changing.

I went on a short backpacking trip here last year. It rained for about an hour in the evening and stopped just as the sun was setting. The view over Lake of the Clouds was absolutely breathtaking. The mist over the water and the way the sun’s beams hit the vapor where perfect. I didn’t take a picture becasue there was no way it would have done the view any justice. It takes awhile to get there, but it’s worth it.

I’ve been to the UP many times and this city is my favorite. We went to the Wooden Nickle the last time I was there. It’s an old biker bar where studnets hang out at now, and bands play. Whe the bar closed at two we all walked right out of the bar and into Lake Superior, it was May and freezing, but sobered us up so we felt great the next morning! There’s a ton of cool places to eat and hang out, as well as go camping hiking. People don’t realize how much the UP has to offer.

I jsut went to NYC for the first time ever last week and absolutely loved it! It is exactly what I thought it was going to be like, excpet that everyone was so nice! I don’t know if it was just because I’m a younger chick or what, but no one was rude to me the whole weekend I was there. So many things to do and see, I’m already planning to go back!

I had a friend whose parents lived in Sao Paulo who we visited. It definitely helped having someone to take us around and who knew what was going on. I had an amazing time. The country and the people there are beautiful. Though it was great, I would have been totally clueless about what was going on there if I didn’t know someone.
