the cab ride from luxor was actually just as impressive as abydos itself.

i sort of hated how much the locals overcharged for everything simply because the place is entirely tourist oriented. other than that, bang up weekend trip. i highly recommend hiring a cab for the day and taking the 3-hour drive to abydoss and dendara.

little to do aside from the obligatory sailing and r&r.

i find these entries really endearing because i live a block away from the msi. it’s easily my favorite building in hyde park. its the only building still standing from the world’s fair of 1893.
