No one can deny that Virginia Beach is over-commercialized.

However, I have always had a great time while in Virginia Beach. Mostly because it was “something different” than my home (the Outer Banks). They practically give away oceanfront rooms in the winter.

But, at least I found a place that was worse than the worst parts of Detroit.

I can not wait to go back! So much to do… to see… to enjoy… to experience. Thank you, Toronto!

There’s culture, but also a lot of roads.

I also spent my Senior Skip Day here in 1993…

Haven’t been there in years, but would love to go back for the nostalgia alone.

People are over-the-top friendly. Great city.

So tranquil and serene here. It’s very spiritual.
