I was born and raised on the NW side of the city. I miss it every day and go back whenever I can. Definitely worth visiting.

I hate bugs and Florida was full of those huge roach-looking palmetto bugs. They were everywhere!! I was miserable the whole time.

I got married here almost 8 years ago.

Was the day before the subway attacks. We were in London—had just arrived the evening before and on the day of the attacks we were getting ready to go out sightseeing when we heard that all the subways were closed. It was amazing how quickly the British people bounced back from this. They definitely “keep a stiff upper lip.”
