I went here VERY unexpectedly while on a trip to Boston, actually. We couldn’t get Sox tickets and I thought, where we really need to go is NYC to go to Yankee Stadium before it’s too late! So we got in the car and made our way down.

My tip is something I had heard already but didn’t heed… DON’T DRIVE DOWNTOWN! Yeah. Made that mistake ONCE, never again. Talk about stress! :P

... and it was beautiful! It was really cloudy the day I went but saw enough to know. :)

I love saying “Ba Ha Ba”, lol, I’m a geek though.

I only had an overnight there, but I discovered a “Haunted Pub Crawl” that was so much fun!

The locals were super friendly. I went into one place and started chatting with some people, and one of them has a cousin that I went to high school with. Small world! :)

... was Friday! Finally I got to see one of America’s greatest cities. You Bostonians truly live in an amazing place! Now if only I could get to the Sox game this Friday, that would truly make my visit 100% perfect. :)

I’ll be there Tuesday for the Yankees game!! I’m SO excited! This was an unplanned leg of a roadtrip that was supposed to start in Boston and go north.

I was driving a friend to LAX last summer and ran across the Kwik-E-Mart, it was on Washinton I think… In any case, there were LOADS of people there! Naturally we had to buy Squishees and pink frosting and sprinkled doughnuts. :)

I’m going July 16-26, and I REALLY wanted to go to a Sox game, but apparently I have to come up with a fat wad of cash since the Yankees will be in town. :( So I suppose I’ll be watching from a bar, any suggestions?

... new favorite bar! I love a place that ONLY makes delicious, tooty-fruity drinks! And mostly rum drinks, even better. :)

... due to mudslides. I was traveling between Italy and Germany by bus. It was by FAR the most beautiful traffic jam I’ve ever been it! Next time I’d like to stop and see much, much more. :)

If you’re planning a trip to LV then you really need to check out this website before you go (it’s free!). They have Cirque du Soleil tix for half price, plus loads of other shows.

I live in LA and get Dodger tix through them for half price several times a year. They’re a quality site- no wondering if you’re actually going to get your tickets! In any case, check it out. :)
