Go early, and be prepared to stand for hours without using the bathroom. But you’ll have lots of fun, dance tons, and meet interesting people. Worth it whether you’re a local (like me) or a visitor. The excitement is contagious in a way it is nowhere else.

Lots of young, friendly folks, and no hassles about sitting around for a bit sipping down free wifi. The Vegetarian Frito Pie is so-so.

Free outdoor movies, concerts, and wi-fi. (And a Jamba Juice and merry-go-round to boot.)

Took a roadtrip through the country in 2004 and was amazed at how much more beautiful everything NOT on the two coasts was.
