My mom's family
is from Ohio. I’ve only been once about 7 years ago for a family reunion. I saw a little bit of the state, but didn’t really get to see too much. I was younger then and don’t remember a lot of it now.
My husband went to Ohio for a metal festival a couple of years ago. He’s a huge music fan and got to visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He didn’t have much luck with the people there. When their car broke down, and they tried to get someone to help them out, everyone ignored them. When a cop came walking by, they just knew he would help, but he just looked at them dirty and walked away. The guy that finally helped them wasn’t even from the area, he was from Florida.
Even so, I’m sure there are plenty of nice people, and I would like to go back with him so we can see more of the state. I know the one thing he’ll hate about going back is not being able to get any sweet tea! haha
