I live within a few minutes of the festival – and I avoid it when possible.
There is a lot of good food, and I guess if you are around, you should go once, but I won’t make a special trip.

It takes about 40 minutes from Vegas, but it’s one of those things you really should do… and my kids really enjoyed the trip… they did have fun.

But come on… It’s just M&M’s…

I’ve been there on Dive trips. It’s a great place to dive.

We sat in the arch way, over looking the beach and pedestrian traffic. I had so much fun there! It’s a cool place to meet and watch people.

it was a great flight from San Jose. It was a challenge landing there, but it wasn’t so bad. It’s a long ride into town though…

I try and go every year. It’s a great place to learn drift diving. It hasn’t been the most beautiful place to visit as far as the attractions on land are concerned (but it has gotten better) but the diving is what makes this a must when planning a vacation.

I’ve spent time on Maui, and Oahu. Maui was very beautiful, quiet, but very pretty. There are some awesome beaches on Maui too.
Oahu has some really nice hidden beaches too. If you go, I’d suggest getting a car and spend a day driving around the island. North Shore has some really nice hole in the wall places to eat too. If you drive around the Island, you’ll see some really pretty beaches that mostly only locals know about (like Sandy Beach).

I was there for about 8 weeks, and really enjoyed my visit. I wouldn’t have been a choice if it wasn’t work related, but I’d like to go again later with my kids. It’s a clean, very nice place to visit.
