also, great place for hiking and bike riding—they even have marked trails for biking.

lived here for 2 months one summer. amazing experice and opportunity. . . life changing.

old city with lots of cool places to visit and foods to try.

just outside of fengshan (fongshan) and halfway between the downtowns of kaohsiung and pingtung . . . it is a great place to live “in the country.”

I enjoyed my time in ChungLi . . . but if you are going to visit places in Taiwan . . . there are MUCH better choices!

I will never forget seeing it.

I saw both where it started-the ocean in the northeast-and the middle—outside of Beijing. By far, seeing it outside of Beijing was best.

I have been to Japan twice. Once in 2000 and once in 2004. Both times for about 2 weeks-both during “chinese new year” break-so winter time.

First time I went, I stayed in my Japanese friends’ homes. Second time I went with a Taiwanese tour group.

First time I saw Japan and enjoyed learning about Japanese culture. Second time was simply a winter wonderland vacation!
