Founded in 1949 by Cistercian Monks, it’s a gorgeous property and lake with very friendly geese and ducks. The Monks have a store where they sell sparkling juices and homemade cheese. They also have a fantastic array of Bonsai trees that they sell.
Just watch out for all the duck poo – it’s everywhere!
Definately worth going to see. Really amazing. Wear comfy shoes it’s really rocky.
over 3 years agoJust a few miles from Port Orange and absolutely stunning….not crowded, peaceful and with crystal clear water, natural dunes, grasses and wildflowers. Great old lighthouse makes it picture perfect. Jim and I went last summer and we will be married there this May.
