British Museum, Bloomsbury

Untitled by alys1989

This is such an amazing place. I love all museums but i could easily spend a week in here. There is so much to look at, the exhibits are sectioned into continents, and from there countries/civilizations. Unfortunately when i went i didnt get time to look around the entire building,so i’m looking forward to the chance when i can visit it again.

The Tower Of London, Tower Hamlets

I really enjoyed visiting this place. Often when you visit these sort of places they can be quite boring, but our beefeater was really funny and was really interesting to listen to. There is a lot to do here, i would particularly recommend looking at the crown jewels, but if you have time its worth exploring every building

Tintagel Castle, Cornwall

Untitled by alys1989

When i first added this entry it was because it was somewhere i happened to have visited, so long ago i could hardly remember ( i believ i was aroungd 4ish at the time) and it meant i had a longer list to look at lol. I now work at the cafe here and it truely is a beautiful place.I often feel sorry for the tourists who pick the wrong day to visit and end quite soggy and miserable, but on a clear day when you can stand up on the cliffs and look at the island and all the birds in the rocks, it can be something quite magical.

Gibraltar, British Overseas Territories

Untitled by alys1989

i found quite a lot to do in Gibraltar. i loved the monkeys they are very cute and cool. We got a bus tour up the rock which was very interesting, and Alan our driver was just the best. The monkeys were hilarious n jumped all over the vehicles. i was hoping that one might jump on me bt i wasnt that lucky. Later on we had a tour inside the caves which is quite good and after that we went dolphin spotting. Id never been on a boat trip before then n i found it amazing!! It was really such a great feeling! And it was fantastic to see the dolphins, they are beautiful creatures and it was lovely to see them in their natural habitat. Overall it was quite an experience, and i would recommend it as a great day out, especially for animal lovers.

Fuengirola, Andalucia

Untitled by alys1989

It was quite built up and touristy here, but the beach was lovely and had a wide range of different activities available. Me and my friend were hoping to try the parasailing but it was too much to cram into the one week! The best time to go out though is in the evenings when all the stalls open up, and there are puppet shows, and lots of different things to buy and see. There are a few bars but its not too busy or noisy its just relaxed. Its also much cooler in the evenings which makes it a nicer time to go exploring

Mijas, Andalucia

Untitled by alys1989

This is a beautiful traditional andalucian village that i really enjoyed visiting. We took a donkey ride around the village, and after a little souvenir shopping, we had a look at some of the attractions such as the very ornate and quite spectacular church. I only regret not being able to spend more time there

Puerto Banus, Andalucia

Untitled by alys1989

i had a great time here!! Its full of designer shops like dolce and gabbana, gucci, and versace, and its quite interesting just to go in and browse and see what kind of welcome u get. In dolce n gabbana they were handing out fruit and champagne, but in anothers they wernt so friendly. Me and my mate spent most of our time in the bars which were completely packed and very lively. We didnt spot any celebs but we didnt care, it was a brilliant night and im looking forward to going again
