a one week school trip to shanghai i will never forget. a girl, beer for 0,35 €/l and endless talks.

my first contact to travelling culture.

if you want to find the bar’s places, head for maoming lu, for shopping of course nanjing lu and for the best hostelling for captain’s hostel.

also interesting to see chinas flag just on top of every board in the class rooms of SFLS (Shanghai Foreign Language School). even more interesting were the persons that never said nothing while standing inside the rooms with us and the pupils…

china stays china, especially when the trip is supported by both governments.

situated within the pyrenees in the north of catalonia, after going with the famous train “cremallera”, which means zippo, you find queralbs.

an old village where almost all buildings are built up by rocks. even the chruch from the 12th century (?). additionally, you find lots of mountain ways from the former sheperds in the area around and the valley of nuria/“vall de nuría”, which ends in a sanctuary with connected skiing resorts.

it’s all about nature up there.

sure, there are differences between germany and catalunya.

sure, i wasn’t prepared for everything.

sure, they got more power inside. everywhere.

but i survived these weeks and am willing to go there again. this city makes you somehow addicted, one could say.
