Berlin, Germany

Busy in a relaxed way

Berlin is a great place. I go there with my wife and her mom (and now with my daughter as well) regularly – two or three times a year.

It’s always bustling with activity, it seems – last time we stayed in an apartment in the main party street Kastanienallee, which was quite packed with people during the evenings. Cool.

The subway was pretty packed one night we were heading for the apartment, but even then some young guys stuck a foot in the door to let us in – we were cramped, but we got in, even with the stroller and all. They were pretty chatty and having a good time.

I love Berlin, and we’re definately going back there. Picture is my wife and daughter in front of the World Time Clock (Weltzeit Uhr) at Alexanderplatz.
