I remember the Blue Grotto… absolutely breathtaking.. going into a large cave on the water by boat and then seeing the water lit up like a blue neon sign with the sunlight coming in from the opening.

I remember seeing a solidified child crouching in fear and now turned to stone from the volcanic eruption/ash. tough to think about.

I went there a very long time ago… about 40 years ago (wow).. I’d love to go again. At that time there was 1 car on the island. I have relatives there. Hope to go again soon.
