Burlington

Worth visiting!

Why I recommend this place to visitors

After moving to Lunenburg, VT from Las Vegas, NV and I needed some good shopping and more people around with less trees and animals. We decided to check out Burlington and let me tell you we were pleasently surprised! It has many of the amenities a large city has but with the relaxed feel and attitude of a small New England town. Lots of unique shops and plenty of great places to eat. Not to mention lots of great looking college girls. A great time awaits anyone here.

Hallowell

Worth visiting!

Small town charm

My favorite place to go when I visit here is “The Liberal Cup” brew pub. Especially on trivia night. The people are always friendly and there is always plenty to enjoy. The food is always made from scratch and it’s the best food in town. And the beer, ahh the beer is just to die for, and I mean that. You can even apply to have your own mug as a regular in the pub, nice. Don’t ever miss Old Hallowell Day, it’s a wonderful celebration and all of Maine just about shows up for it.

Pemaquid Point

Worth visiting!

Not your typical beach

Huge slabs of granite smothed by centuries of erosion have shaped Pemaquid Point into an exotic and playful myriad of forms and shapes you could scour for days. The waves smashing against the rocks and the seagulls squawking overhead is a picture perfect experience of Maine.

Fort Jackson

Worth visiting!

For my family and country

The decision to commit to a life in the Army or any service branch is not a light one. But when you do join you realize that basic training is a nightmare, and it’s every day all day for 8 weeks. But when you’ve “survived” you’ll feel much stronger and more confident then you ever have. It’s worth the trip, it’ll change your life because you become apart of something bigger than yourself, a United States Soldier.

Schofield Barracks

Worth visiting!

More then an Army Post

Schofield Baracks or as it was affectionately known “Castle Greyskull” (there seemed to alway be a dark cloud looming over the base). It has great golf and excellent hiking. Don’t think just because it’s a military base there’s nothing to do. Check it out!

Fort Gordon

Worth visiting!

Advanced training Station for the Army.

I didn’t really see much of the city – Augusta – but what I did see was wonderful. The Hooters and strip joints were full of very beautiful women. And they sold booze to just about anyone. Hey gimme a break I was 19! And they didn’t check ID at the motels either.

Bellagio Hotel and Casino

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: A great experience!

Starting with the incredible fountain display to the elaborate gardens and beautiful shops. This is a must stop destination. And checkin at least one night at their rooms, they are just incredible!

Las Vegas

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

The glitz and glamour of Las Vegas is second to none! It’s a 24/7 fantasy world and the ride is moving so you have to jump right in and you have no choice but to enjoy every minute of it. The real Casino experience is at any of the Station Casinos. The casinos on the strip are certainly fun. But the Station Casinos were always a more comforatable atmosphere, at least for me.

Diamond Head

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

When you travel up the path to the top of Diamond Head … run! No kidding it’s the best fun you’ll have going up a trail. And when you go back down go real slow and check it all out! What a wonderful place! And go in the morning!
