The height to the oculus and the diameter of the interior circle are the same (43 metres, or 142 feet 6 inches), so the whole interior would fit exactly within a cube (alternatively, the interior could house a sphere 43 metres in diameter). The dome is the largest surviving from antiquity.
over 5 years agoI “accidentally” found it. I was walking around, really, I had forgotten my map and my guide for instance… Then I saw that large amount of people, went there to check out and then, I found: La fontana di Trevi.
Italy is breathtaking and hides a surprise after every taken step.
