Hello America, you are fat. Thanks for bringing your children along. If any place in the world had a shot of living up to its Hollywood image, that place is the elaborate pagentry that is Las Vegas – but it didn’t. I might go back if there were fewer people.

A great place to live...

… but, besides the Packers, I cannot think of much that would draw an outsider in. When visiting relatives in nearby Brown County, we don’t usually even go into the city (and I am a serious City Slicker). I would prolly move here in a heartbeat, though.

A nice escape

Living in Cairo, Elait was a nice weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle and intrusions of expat life. It has a pretty decent mall, which was great for stocking up on a few things before heading back home.
