Idaho Springs, Colorado

If you go to Idaho Springs, try to get to Beau Jo’s! They have really really really good food, and a mostly friendly wait-staff in a great old building. My mouth is watering just thinking of it . . .

over 4 years agoYou may have to do a little searching to find what you want, but it’s probably here. It’s not a huge city. It has diversity, but you have to look for it. Sports? Junior hockey, minor league baseball, LOTS of college sports. Music? Opera, Jazz, the FM Orchestra, coffee houses, Playmaker’s House of Rock . . . We’re close to Buffalo State Park, if you like backpacking. Lots of churches, lots of bars. Lots of volunteer opportunities, and lots of places to shop. (I recommend downtown!)
