I was in Las Vegas about 24 years ago. I’m sure it has changed dramatically since I was there. Guess what! I will be headed that way come Tuesday! We will have a stop over in Vegas on our way to California! I’ve never been to California!
over 4 years agowith the exception of the two week move to Houston, TX that ran me back to Kansas when Hurricane Allen hit the Gulf of Mexico back in 1980. And then the six months I was in Goldfield, NV.
Kansas is a diverse state, you go from the east to the west on I-70 alone and you’re gonna miss the best the state has to offer! Get off that boring interstate and travel the back roads, you’ll find a lot of beauty, a lot of little towns with really nice folks in them.
If you’re bored on your drive through Kansas play the windmill game with the occupants of your car. It’s a very simple game to play. Just count the windmills. When you get to where ever it is you’re going whoever has the most to thier name wins the game!
