I grew up here

I spent the first 18 years or so of my life here, and part of me will always call it home. I re-visited it for the first time a few months ago and was completely blown away by the smog and traffic — i guess you don’t really notice it as much when you live there day in and day out, but it was pretty disgusting! Nevertheless, there are some awesome places in LA (check out the beach towns like Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, etc) and there is always something to do…if you have a car.

Berlin, Germany

Great city with an amazing history

At first when I visited Berlin, I didn’t like it too much. It seemed too large, cold, and, to be honest, kind of sterile. After talking an amazing walking tour and learning about the incredible history of the city, however, I gained a newfound appreciation for the place. I’d highly recommend reading up on the history or talking a good tour!
