Worth visiting!
A review of this place
nightlife is good
The state fair in august is nice but expensive (but arent they all?)
I used to live here, and Id prefer to live in Syracuse rather than where I am now.

I grew up here sadly. I moved away with my then boyfriend/now husband as soon as I could and it wasnt fast enough.
I don’t recommend living here, prices of houses are going down as are values of them, taxes are going UP, neighborhoods have gone to shit and I don’t think the school system is good at all.
There is NO job market here either.
The city is a HOLE in the ground.
Tourism sucks and they have been making half ass attempts to make it better though.
The only thing I’ve ever liked about this place is the Niagara Falls, and even THAT is better on the CANADIAN side.
you’ll probably need new shocks/struts after driving down these pothole infested streets.
There is honestly nothing to do here besides visit ther few bars located in bad parts of Niagara Falls.
If your in NIAGARA FALLS go across the boarder and go to Clifton Hill. MUCH MUCH more to do, and you may actually have fun.
Visit Buffalo, it’s SLIGHTLY better.

I’m torn still as of weather it was worth all the money. All the cash I spent total and the cost of the ticket itself.
I went in 2006, it seemed all the djs my friends and I wanted to see were all on late at night within a 3 hour span. And were talking about 10djs here so we had to RUN AROUND this HUGE place, getting confused as to where we were going most of the time, most djs we didnt even see, some we could only stay for part of the set. unorganized if you ask me.
We got there around noon the day of the party. It was almost IMPOSSIBLE to find WATER to drink until about 4 or 5. IT WAS NUTS and made me MAD to no end!! There was a BEER tent every few feet, but NONE had water, and it was HOT.
Our hotel was only a block away on the same street which was EXCELLENT.
If you don’t live in florida and don’t know Miami, it’s an EXPENSIVE city. Taxis (if you plan to go anywhere else while there, which we did since we were there for 5 days for the WMC) will cost an ARM and a LEG.
Taxi from the airport to our hotel cost $35! Riande contentintal or something like that.
don’t walk around this city alone!
DO visit SOUTH BEACH!
and visit MIAMI INK!

We went last summer with our son who was 8 and daughter who was 4.
Six Flags is only a few miles away.
There are many put put places to visit.
million dollar beach was relaxing and enjoyable for the family. The lake is beautiful.
There are a few arcades, good for kids and those adults who enjoy games.
there is another amusment park, though small and for kids called magic forest I believe, not too far. We didn’t visit though.
TONS of bars on the main strip. Next time we go, we’re going without kids to enjoy the bars at night.
There were good restaurants we enjoyed, though I don’t remember the names right now.
Many stores with odds and ends, souviners ect..

I find it a bit overpriced from what you get, but if you arent completely schooled on what happend with the witch trials ect.. You will learn a bit in a fun visual way, as the salem witch museum isnt actually a museum but its this huge room where a story is told and parts of the large room light up and you watch as the story is told. Each part of the story has a differnet display with almost lifelike models of the victoms and accused, and what was going on.
I enjoyed it. I will be going there again this October.
They also have headphones that will translate into spanish for those who do not use english as your 1st language. Just ask for them upon entering.
